Vulcanizing agent 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane CAS 78-63-7
It serves as a cross‑linking agent for silicone rubber, polyurethane rubber, ethylene‑propylene rubber and other rubbers. It can also be used as a cross‑linking agent for polyethylene and a vulcanizing agent for unsaturated polyesters.
This product avoids the drawbacks of di‑tert‑butyl peroxide (easy volatilization) and dicumyl peroxide (unpleasant odour). It is an effective high‑temperature vulcanizing agent for vinyl silicone rubber. The finished articles feature good tensile strength and low elongation.
Liquid grade: packed in 25 kg PE drums.
Powder grade: inner PE plastic bags (net weight 5 kg each), packed in outer cartons with a net weight of 20 kg per carton.
Storage temperature: ambient temperature (<38℃).
During transportation, avoid direct sunlight, violent vibration and heat exposure.
Storage and transport together with strong acids, reducing agents and other similar materials are strictly prohibited.
