Metall nano-moylash qo'shimchasining qo'llanilishi: ishqalanish jarayonida moyga 0,1 dan 0,3% gacha nano-vismut kukuni qo'shib, o'z-o'zidan moylanadigan, o'z-o'zidan laminatsiyalanadigan va moylash samaradorligini sezilarli darajada yaxshilaydigan ishqalanish yuzasiga surting. Metallurgiya sanoati: Nano-vismut kukuni qotishmaning oson kesish samaradorligini oshirish uchun quyma temir, po'lat va alyuminiy qo'shimchalari sifatida ishlatilishi mumkin. Magnit materiallar: vismutning termal neytron yutilish kesimi kichik va erish nuqtasi, qaynash nuqtasi, issiqlik uzatish muhiti yadro reaktori sifatida ishlatilishi mumkin.
