Cetyltrimethylammonium chloride CTAC
English name: Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride
CTAC is a cationic surfactant. It is easily soluble in isopropanol, soluble in water , and generates a lot of foam during shock. It has excellent penetration, softening, emulsification, antistatic, biodegradability and sterilization functions.
1. CTAC is compatible with zwitterionic, nonionic surfactants and cationic polymers, but not compatible with anionic surfactants.
2. CTAC is mainly used for textile softener, hair conditioner cosmetic emulsification conditioning, leveling agent, antistatic agent, water quality bactericide, clothing disinfectant; can also be used for asphalt emulsification and waterproof coating emulsification, glass fiber softening processing and Oilfield additives, etc.
