It is also used as a raw material for photographic agents and as a reagent in the synthesis of Bodroux-Chichibabin aldehyde.
TEOF is used as a stabilizer for polyurethane coatings. It is compatible with isocyanate and polyester. Being a moisture scavenger in isocyanate and polyester coating systems.
