What is HTPB ?

HTPB also known as hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (CAS No. 69102-90-5), is a new liquid rubber(resin), HTPB have reactive hyroxyl groups. It can reaction with chain extension agent, crosslinking agent in room temperature or high temperature to generate 3D network structure of curing content that with excellent mechanical properties.

The performance properties of HTPB as: Hydrophobicity, Reactive hyroxyl groups, Low glass transition temperature, Low color - high clarity viscous liquid, Resistance to hydrolysis,

Low temperature resistance, Low moisture permeability, Resistance to aqueous acids and bases, Strong wear resistance, Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, Electrical insulative properties, Excellent mechanical properties make it widely used in:

- Coatings

- Adhesives

- Propellants

- Polyurethane(PU) materials

- Binders

- Sealants

- Electrical insulation materials

- Rubber products

- Structural materials in car and planes

- Building materials (waterproof, anti-corrosion, heat insulation)

- Potting and encapsulation

- Polymer Modification

- and so many other kinds of usage.

What is CTBN ?

CTBN also know as carboxyl-terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer ( CAS No. 25265-19-4 or 68891-46-3), the carboxyl group as it's function group, can be used generally in aviation and civil industrial areas. Owing the active carboxyl-terminated group make it can react with epoxy resin to enhance the toughness.

The features of CTBN as: Enhances the toughness and flexibility of thermoset resins, Improves adhesion to substrates that are difficult to bond to, Increases impact and crack resistance, Improves durability (fatigue resistance), Increases low-temperature mechanical properties, etc. make it widely used in:

1. Adhesives, bonding, sealing, spraying, potting (aerospace, automotive, electrical/electronics, industrial, marine and construction applications..)

2. Coatings (solution, powder, waterborne)

3. CTBN is toughness for epoxy resin, and an excellent flexibility modifier for thermosetting resins like epoxy, phenolic, unsaturated polyester and photosensitive resins.

What is DDI ?

DDI also know as Dimeryl Diisocyanate CAS No. 68239-06-5, DDI is a unique aliphatic diisocyanate that can be used to prepare polymers with compounds containing active hydrogen. It is a long-chain compound with a 36-carbon dimer fatty acid backbone. The main chain structure gives DDI superior flexibility, water resistance and low toxicity to other aliphatic isocyanates. DDI is a low viscosity liquid that is easily soluble in most polar or non-polar solvents. Because it is aliphatic isocyanate, has the characteristics of non-yellowing. It has many advantages of low toxicity, easy to use, soluble in most solvents, controllable reaction time and low water sensitivity. It is a typical green biorenewable special isocyanate variety, which can be widely used in fabric finishing, elastomers, adhesives and sealants, coatings, inks and other military and civil fields.

We have optimized the production of HTPB,CTBN and DDI(Dimeryl Diisocyanate) to improved their performance, and further make the more competitive in prices compare to Poly BD R45 HTLO, Huntsman 1300X13(Hypro 1300X13 CTBN).
